Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) is a joint venture between Shanghai Lujiazui Exhibition Development Co., Ltd. and Deutsche Messe International AG (members include Hannover Messe AG/Messe Dusseldorf AG/Messe Munchen AG). As the first Sino-foreign joint venture exhibition center, Shanghai New International Expo Center has become one of the most successful exhibition centers in China. SNIEC has 17 single-storey column-free exhibition halls with an indoor exhibition area of 200,000 square meters and an outdoor exhibition area of 100,000 square meters. Since its opening in 2001, SNIEC has achieved steady growth, holding about 100 well-known exhibitions each year, attracting more than 7 million domestic and foreign merchants.
